Transportation
Molly’s Angels is part of a large community that cares about the older adults in Napa Valley. In addition to our own services, we are happy to connect clients to other benefits and opportunities around Napa County.
Free Car Rides
Free rides for ambulatory older adults to non-emergency medical appointments.
Eligibility
Napa County Resident, Age 60+, Ambulatory (able to get in and out of vehicle unassisted).
Details
All rides are complimentary.
Walkers and canes are acceptable.
Minimum 1 weeks’ notice required.
Rides must take place during business hours, Monday through Friday, 9am–4pm.
No rides from surgery or appointments where passengers are under the effects of any anesthesia.
Drivers are volunteers and use their own vehicles.
Please note: We do our utmost to accommodate requests but cannot guarantee any rides.
Paratransit Rides
Assisting disabled older adults to non-emergency medical appointments.
In addition to our own transportation program, we offer navigation to older adults to enroll in the Napa Valley Transportation Authority VineGo Program. We can help with enrollment and will ride along on those first trips. VineGo is a great program that not only supports of mission of medical/dental transportation, but is then available for all types of errands/social events, etc. We are happy to help qualified older adults onboard for this service.
