Molly's Angels offers free transportation to and from medical appointments for seniors and adults with disabilities. By offering free transportation, we support seniors living longer in their own homes.

- 60+ Years of age or an adult with a permanent disability
- Must be ambulatory, able to get in and out of vehicles unassisted

Program Details
- Walkers and canes are OK
- All rides are free
- No on-demand or same day requests are possible, 1 week notice is required
- Rides must be during business hours Monday through Friday 9AM-4PM
- We do all we can to accommodate you, but rides are not guaranteed. If no driver is found, Molly's Angels will give you enough notice to make other arrangements
- Drivers wait with you until the end of your appointment. If you would like to make additional stops like the grocery store or pharmacy, you can ask the driver if they can do so
- NO rides to surgeries or any appointments receiving anesthesia

Hello, Molly! Care Calls

Molly's Angels volunteers make weekly check-in calls to seniors living alone in Napa County offering a safety check, and friendly conversation, helping to alleviate loneliness and depression. Check-in phone calls enable seniors to maintain their safety, health, mental health and independence to ensure they are not alone.

Emergency Grocery & Prescription Delivery
The Emergency Essentials Delivery Program began during the pandemic when seniors could not go out to the grocery store and used frequently by many. This program is now used for senior clients in need of emergency one-time grocery assistance in circumstances where they cannot get to the store and cannot qualify for immediate community assistance where Molly’s Angels will order, pay for, pick up, and deliver emergency groceries on a one time or set-term basis. Examples may include circumstances such as: newly moved and navigating resources, injury, recent hospital release, temporary sickness, etc.

This program is not for recurring food and grocery needs, as there are available community resources and programs able to assist including:

- Must be a request out of need, not convenience. For example, a medication type that cannot be delivered by the pharmacy
- Must have a client card on file, volunteers cannot handle any monies
- Require 24 hours or more notice (no same day requests)
This program is not for recurring food and grocery needs, as there are available community resources and programs able to assist including:
- CANV Food Bank
- Emergency Food Pantries (7 locations throughout Napa County)
- Silver Fox Program (Previously Senior Brown Bag) – 2x monthly delivery
- Meals on Wheels
- Some local grocery stores offer online ordering and delivery, as well as mobile apps including InstaCart, DoorDash, UberEats, & more.
