Originally from England, Julia is the current Executive Director of Molly’s Angels and lives in Napa. Julia moved to Napa in December 2016 (just in time for the 2017 wildfires!) to pursue a career in the non-profit world after falling in love with the area. She moved from Los Angeles after a long career as a public relations and marketing expert at the Walt Disney Studios and DDA PR, where she worked on some of the biggest box office successes such as Pirates of the Caribbean I, II and III, Finding Nemo, CARS, Ratatouille, UP!, The Princess and the Frog, Frozen, and The Chronicles of Narnia to name a few. Her heart for helping seniors in need was fostered during her time volunteering on the Navajo and Hopi reservations helping the elders fix their homes, delivering food and other essentials, and helping with animal care.
Julia joined Molly’s Angels with a deep and abiding passion for community and all that goes into making sure that all its members – especially those with limited resources - can thrive. And after a globe-trotting career where she worked on films in China, Japan, Spain, Sweden, and Canada, she is profoundly committed to Napa as her community and home.
Julia volunteers with Ripple Effect Animal Project, Napa Wildlife, Napa CART, and the North Valley Animal Rescue Group in her spare time and has been a Board member of Sol Communications for over twenty years supporting indigenous and environmental rights.
